habit ::
Performance installation, in 'Beast,' a group show at Million Fishes, SF, October 2010.
Habit is a hanging, sculptural drawing on transluscent oiled Nepalese paper, done in permanent marker with colored pencil tracing paper overlays.
I performed a 4 hour cycle of simple, habitual movements inside the piece.
 A recurrent, often unconscious, pattern of behavior that is acquired through frequent repetition.
 The garb of a particular rank, organization, religious order, etc.
 the instinctive actions of animals and the natural tendencies or growth form of plants
 An addiction, especially to a drug
Co-curated by myself, Finley Coyl and Chrystal Powell, Beast featured over 16 Bay Area artists, musicians and performers
and took place at Million Fishes Art Collective in San Francisco.
